Bio: A former Army officer, Rich graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2009. He served five years in the Infantry, completing Air Assault, Airborne, and Ranger Schools as well as a combat tour to Afghanistan, where he led over 120 dismounted patrols and earned the Bronze Star and the Combat Infantryman Badge. After his service, Rich obtained his Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the NSCA and his Master’s Degree from Arizona State University. While he continues to train the tactical community, he has also worked with numerous amateur and professional athletes including record-holding powerlifters, beach volleyball players, and multiple NFL players. Rich has been published in NSCA Coach and currently serves on the NSCA Arizona State Advisory Board. He is the founder, owner, and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of Liberty Performance Training in Phoenix, Arizona.
Strength & Conditioning Coach
Bio: Daniel has worked as a strength and conditioning professional for several prominent programs across Arizona over the last few years and has worked with many different athletes and individuals. Athletes trained range from young athletes to professionals in the NFL and MLB communities. Prior to training at Liberty Performance, Daniel served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Director for Epic Fitness in the valley and for Desert Speed School in Tucson, Arizona. Daniel has also most recently worked on the strength and conditioning side of several professional performance camps, working with over 45 NFL and collegiate football athletes as well as over 20 MLB and minor league athletes. He also has helped oversee the rehabilitation and performance of several of these athletes. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA.
Bio: Garrin Nash was a two-sport collegiate athlete at South Mountain Community College, where she was captain of the soccer team and played in the 2017 and 2018 All-Star Games. She has been the captain of her soccer teams since middle school and currently serves as the team representative to the Athletic Leadership Council. She became CPR and First Aid certified as part of her prior employment as a lifeguard.
Garrin has a passion for training, both personally as well as teaching others. She continues to train with her team while pursuing her NSCA certification. With her contagious laugh and constructive attitude, Garrin hopes to help trainees see positive health and physical results from personal training.
Colton served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years immediately after graduating high school. While enlisted, he found his love for strength training which led to him pursuing his Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State and acquiring his CSCS from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is an avid practitioner and coach of Olympic lifting, seeing firsthand the way they augmented his performance while playing rugby for 6 years. Colton has experience working in the corporate wellness field, where he confronted numerous issues and improved his coaching skills with a huge variety of people. He is currently pursuing entry into a Doctorate of Physical Therapy program and has ambitions to provide futuristic health solutions to the American populace.
Sports Massage Therapist
Bio: Quinn Schoenewald is one of the top sports massage therapists in the state of Arizona. He is certified and licensed in many different advanced massage techniques, which have helped enhance recovery time. Quinn has worked with numerous professional athletes, entertainers, media personalities, and coaches over his young career including Tyrann Mathieu (NFL), Adrian Wilson (NFL), Anaso Jobodwana (Olympics), Giles Smith (USA Swimming), and Johnny “Hollywood” Case (UFC).

Social Media and Marketing Representative
Bio: Nick graduated from Lake Erie College in 2011. He was involved in Strength and Conditioning in the private sector before he began working in high school and youth sports. Nick now helps small companies in business development by improving their digital presence and evaluating strategic partnership opportunities. When he is not working or watching sports, you can find Nick in the weight room. He lifts 3-4 times per week and is thrilled to join the Liberty Performance Training team.
