Lifting After Injury Seminar

Back Under the Bar: Lifting After Injury
Hosted by Megan von Kolnitz
Date: Postponed to a date TBD
Time: 10am to Noon
Location: Liberty Performance

Geared toward powerlifters, Olympic lifters, strongman athletes, and strength-focused lifters.

If you’ve been sidelined by injury—or you coach athletes who have—you know how frustrating the road back can be. Do too much too soon, and you’re back to the physical therapist or do too little because you’re scared to lift at your full potential. The gap between graduating physical therapy and actually returning to heavy lifting is daunting. So how do you actually return to heavy lifting with confidence?

In this seminar, Megan breaks down how to navigate pain, make informed training decisions, and get back under the bar without fear. You’ll learn practical strategies rooted in real-world experience as well as evidence-based principles—no fluff, no fear-mongering.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to assess pain during squats, pulls, and presses
  • Understanding pain as information from our body and interpreting that information
  • How to modify movement while maintaining intensity or intent
  • Specific warm ups/prehab exercises for common injuries
  • Programming strategies for returning to heavy loading after injury
  • Red flags to watch for—and what not to worry (too much) about
  • Mental strategies for rebuilding confidence under the bar

Whether you’re coming back from a tweak, managing a long-term issue, or want to be prepared for the future, this seminar will help you keep lifting heavy—smarter and stronger than before.

This is a lecture first then practical, hands-on session—so come ready to learn AND move.
