A basketball player requires an immense amount of plyometric explosiveness, core strength and speed. Jump ability and lower body power are critical to the success of a basketball player. A smart combination of plyometric drills, strength training and mobility work can significantly improve the unique athletic skillset a basketball player must have.
SPEED and POWER are both functions of strength; the more force you can put into the ground (STRENGTH), the faster you will be able to move and react. By developing a smart plan of attack based around the athlete’s seasonal play, we can significantly improve many aspects of performance, including strength.
