Bio:

Adam grew up in Colonia, New Jersey where he developed a passion for endurance and obstacle course racing with his longest race consisting of 72 miles and 72 obstacles. With this newfound passion Adam became involved with two charity racing teams: Team Believe and Next Step. Both organizations dedicated themselves to spreading awareness about those in the community who needed help and assisted in raising donations.

At the age of 20, Adam embarked on his next adventure and spent five years on active duty in the Army Infantry. During his time in the Army, Adam earned the rank of Sergeant and operated as a squad leader while earning his expert infantry badge and air assault wings. Every success and failure he experienced taught a great lesson about performance psychology and the limitless potential of the human mind and body.

Upon completion of his service, Adam moved to Arizona where he attended Arizona State University, earning his bachelor’s degree in Sports Science and Performance Programming. Adam is currently enrolled in ASU’s master’s program studying Strength and Conditioning. Coach DaCunha specializes in working with tactical populations but has experience working with all ability levels and a passion for helping people exceed their fitness goals.
