Liberty’s Independence Open 2023

Liberty’s unsanctioned Powerlifting meet is BACK!

We will be running this contest just like any other powerlifting meet with flights, spotters and loaders, judges, and USAPL’s lifting standards with commands. Please see USAPL’s Handbook for any questions regarding lifting standards. No singlets will be required. No elbow sleeves, wrist straps, single-ply or multi-ply suits, or knee wraps will be allowed. Lifting belt, lifting shoes, wrist wraps, and knee sleeves are allowed.

Sign up for our July 8th Independence Open. Podium finishes for Top 3 Men and Top 3 Female lifters by DOTS will be awarded BIG cash prizes. And the best part, the more athletes that register, the bigger the cash prizes! These numbers are subject to further increase!

Up to 30 Athletes: 

1st Place- $300 + Independence Open 2023 Champion poster

2nd Place- $100 + Medal

3rd Place- $75 + Medal

30-50 Athletes:

1st Place- $400 + Independence Open 2023 Champion poster

2nd Place- $150 + Medal

3rd Place- $100 + Medal

50+ Athletes:

1st Place- $500 + Independence Open 2023 Champion poster

2nd Place- $300 + Medal

3rd Place- $200 + Medal
