David Hamrick

Strength and Conditioning Coach

David Hamrick is a strength and conditioning coach with Liberty Performance whose coaching is shaped by military service, endurance training, and formal study in human performance. A Navy veteran holding a Master’s of Sports Performance degree from ASU, David approaches training with an evidence-based mindset and a long-term view of performance.
His experience spans distance running, hypertrophy-focused training, mountaineering, and preparing tactical athletes to perform under fatigue—where technical execution, breathing control, and sound decision-making matter more than intensity alone. David emphasizes repeatable fundamentals and thoughtful progression, creating training that supports not only peak performance, but long-term durability, adaptability, and confidence across athletic and professional demands.
Why
David believes training should translate directly to life and mission performance. For him, longevity, resilience, and personal growth are built by learning how to respond to stress with awareness rather than force. Training is a tool for developing both physical capacity and psychological resilience.
His goal as a coach is to create a supportive, high-standard environment where athletes are challenged appropriately, encouraged to take ownership of their development, and equipped to learn from both success and failure. By combining clear structure, evidence-based methods, and a steady coaching presence, David helps athletes become stronger, more capable, and better prepared to navigate discomfort, uncertainty, and responsibility—both in training and beyond it.
